The Service department of Bakker Repair + Services performed an inspection and repaired a generator at a powerplant located in Curaçao.
The generator concerned was suffering from partial discharge. This resulted in a decreased reliability of the generator. Our Service Engineer treated the generator with semi conducting material in order to bring back the partial discharge to acceptable levels.
After successfully finishing this clever repair, our Service Engineer inspected another generator to asses it’s condition for our customer.
